The workshop will give 3rd through 6th grade students and their parents information about what communion is and why we do it, and also experience other activities to reinforce our understanding of Gods tremendous love for us.
As part of preparation to receive their First Communion, all First Communion students and their families are invited to attend a Seder Meal on Maundy Thursday, April 13 at 6:00 in the Activity Center. This symbolic meal is representative of Jesus’ Last Supper. When the Seder Meal is completed, families will enter the worship center for Maundy Thursday worship at 7:00 where they will receive communion as a family.
