Roseville Lutheran will be heading back to "God's Great Northwoods" this summer through Voyageurs Lutheran Ministry. Camp Hiawatha is nestled on the shores of Deer Lake near Grand Rapids, MN. VLM strives for every camper, young and old that come to its camps will see the love of Christ in all that we do. Camp is 6 days and 5 nights of swimming, worship, games, bible study, tie dying, canoeing, singing, crafts, food, campfires and friendships that will last a life time.
This camp is for youth currently in grades 4 - 9.
***While this summer will look similar to previous summers, there are a few things that will be different due to Covid-19.***
We want to be upfront with you about what those are.
- The biggest change is Roseville Lutheran will not be providing transportation to and from camp. (We will let you know who is in your cabin in advance so you can carpool!)
- There will be 4 campers per cabin instead of the typical 7-8.
- There is a required pre-camp health screening in which you need to record your child's temperature for 2 weeks before camp. If you DO NOT fill that out and bring it to camp, your child WILL be sent home.
- You MUST attend a Zoom session on either May 23rd at 1 p.m. OR May 26th at 6 p.m.
***Due to Covid restrictions, we may need to utilize VLM's sister camp, Camp Vermillion, for overflow.
