Boundary Waters

RLC youth currently in grades 9 - 12 are invited to join us for a week in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area through Voyageurs Lutheran Ministry.

For 50 years, groups from all over the country have come to the northwoods of Minnesota to explore the power and splendor of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness with the guidance of Voyageurs Lutheran Ministry staff. Teaming with VLM provides the opportunity to discover nature’s wonders while experiencing all of the benefits of living in a faith community. Their staff are trained to not only guide trips but to lead discussions that take the lessons learned in the BWCAW and apply them to our faith and our life back home. A trip with Voyageurs Canoe Country does not end with the final portage.

Participants and their families should plan to attend our informational meeting offered via Zoom on May 23 at 4 p.m. to learn more about how to prepare for the trip and VLM's Covid-safety precautions, including a required self-recorded health screening during the two weeks prior to our trip.
